Karl Probst, CIO-BMW Group

Karl Probst studied physics at the Munich Technical University. Following postgraduate studies in business administration he began his professional career in 1984 with the military aircraft company MBB as a development engineer for on-board control systems. Subsequently he became head of development planning and control. After two years as assistant to the COO, he moved to Intertraffic GmbH managing the division developing and marketing computer aided control systems for public transportation.

In 1998 he joined Debis Systemhaus Industry leading the Aerospace Services division, and in 1999 the “Elektro-, Maschinen, und Anlagenbau” Business Center, followed in 2000 by board membership. Probst also became a member of the board of Debis Systemhaus Dienstleistungen in 2001, where he had full responsibility for the non-automotive industry markets. He was made managing director of T-Systems GEI GmbH and of T-Systems Nova GmbH in 2002, sitting in that capacity on the executive board of T-Systems International GmbH Service Line Systems Integration.

Karl Probst took over as CIO of the BMW Group on January 1st 2006.

Ron Wright, CEO-Next Century Technologies

Ron Wright is the Chairman/CEO of Next Century Technologies , Inc., (www.nxtcent.com) an international holding company of healthcare, software and biotechnology corporations. Mr. Wright has also served as President of JNetDirect Incorporated, (www.jnetdirect.com) a leading Northern Virginia software company since 2003.

Mr. Wright was the Founder and CEO of Neurosoft, Inc., a manufacturer of neurodiagnostic instruments and neuroimaging software based systems. He established Neurosoft in 1988 and sold the company to The Marmon Group of Chicago in 1998. He remained with The Marmon Group until the end of 2002. Prior to Neurosoft, Mr. Wright was President of a private consulting practice based in New York .

In public service, Mr. Wright was appointed for two terms by Virginia ’s Governor Mark Warner to the Board of Directors of the Virginia Biotechnology Research Park Authority. He serves as the Treasurer of the Park Authority and as a Director of the Virginia Biosciences Development Center . He is also a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, was appointed for two terms to the New York District Export Council by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and has served on the Finance Committee for numerous federal and state campaigns.

Mr. Wright sits on the Board of Directors for five privately held corporations and received a degree in Public Policy from Eisenhower College in Upstate New York.
